Workplace Giving with Children's Cancer Network
What is Workplace Giving?
Did you know you can support Children’s Cancer Network through payroll deductions, matching gifts, volunteer grants, and workplace fundraising opportunities? Workplace giving is an easy way to make a lasting impact for Arizona families facing childhood cancer while supporting a cause you care about.
Why does Workplace Giving matter?
A childhood cancer diagnosis changes everything for a family. While parents navigate hospital stays, work, finances, and caring for their children, Children’s Cancer Network helps families through every stage of the cancer journey.
Your workplace gift helps provide food from our pantry, gas and food cards, mental health support, camps, family events, scholarships, and more, giving families practical support, connection, and moments of normalcy when they need it most. Your support helps Arizona families facing childhood cancer feel supported and seen.
Payroll Deductions and Workplace Giving Campaigns
If your company offers payroll giving, you can choose to have a set amount automatically deducted from each paycheck to support Children’s Cancer Network. Simply let your employer know you would like to participate, and they can guide you through the next steps.
Your company may also host annual giving campaigns, employee giving drives, or charitable giving opportunities throughout the year. If your workplace participates in one of these programs, consider supporting Children’s Cancer Network through your campaign pledge.
If you are a state employee, you may be able to support Children’s Cancer Network through your State Employee Combined Campaign. Please refer to your campaign materials and choose Children’s Cancer Network when making your pledge.
Maricopa County offers workplace giving programs that allow employees to support charitable organizations through payroll deductions. If you are a county employee, check with your Human Resources department or workplace giving coordinator to select Children’s Cancer Network. Use designation code ST946 when applicable to direct your donation to Children’s Cancer Network.
If your company participates in a United Way Workplace Campaign, you are able to designate Children’s Cancer Network as your charity of choice through payroll deductions. You may choose Children’s Cancer Network as a write in with the information below:

Matching Gifts
Check to see if your employer matches charitable donations made by their employees, which can double the impact of your gift to Children’s Cancer Network.
Here’s how it works:
- Make a donation to Children’s Cancer Network.
- Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program.
- Submit a matching gift request through your company’s process.
- Your employer may verify the donation and then send a matching contribution to CCN.
Because every company has a different process, we encourage employees to contact their Human Resources department or workplace giving coordinator for details.
Volunteer Grants and Volunteer Matching
Check to see if your company provides charitable donations in recognition of employee volunteer service. These programs are often called Volunteer Grants or Volunteer Matching Programs.
Here’s how the process typically works:
- Volunteer with Children’s Cancer Network at one of our programs or events.
- Track your volunteer hours and submit them through your employer’s volunteer grant program.
- Your employer may contact Children’s Cancer Network to verify your service.
- Your employer makes a donation to Children’s Cancer Network based on your volunteer hours.
If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to connect with you about upcoming opportunities.
