CCN Connect
Cancer treatment can be tough both physically and emotionally.
Throughout the course of treatment, it may be necessary for the cancer fighter to be isolated due to their temporarily suppressed immune system. These children cannot go to school, the mall, the movies or any area where they may be exposed to germs, which they do not have the capacity to fight at that moment. But, they can participate in CCN Connect!

CCN Connect is a virtual program.
CCN Connect offers the opportunity for children ages 5- to 11-years-old, who are isolated at home or in the hospital due to their cancer treatment, to connect via ZOOM for a weekly one hour program of crafts and fun where they will interact with our CCN staff and volunteers as well as other children isolated for the same reason. Each week offers a different theme such as sports, zoo animals, the beach, and space. Theme related activities include arts and crafts, science experiments, read alouds, fun facts, short videos, and more!
Internet access and a smart phone, tablet or computer is required for this program. To learn more, register to participate, and receive the zoom link, please contact our program specialist, Sharon at sharon.wozny@childrenscancernetwork.org.
Supplies for any projects can be found easily at home or in the hospital, be sure to let us know if we can assist in any way. We look forward to adding both connections and fun to your day!
