A kindergartener this fall at Franklin East Elementary, 5 year-old Grant loves school; especially PE and recess, as well as library, music, and computers.

And, he is definitely a “Lego maniac”! Grant has embraced ‘just being a kid and having fun’ throughout his treatments, amazing his family with his bright and cheerful spirit since being diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in February 2013.

His family – Mom, Dad, and sisters Ava and Camille – are also grateful for all the support from their family, neighborhood, and church group during this journey. The best advice they received was just accept and say “Thank you” to the offers of “How can I help”?
