CCN’s September 29th Hero is Nevaeh!
Nevaeh was diagnosed with acute myloid leukemia. She is 8 years old. Cancer has changed her by making her stronger. Some of her favorite things are Shopkins, singing and dancing. McDonald’s is her favorite place to go because she likes to play in Playland. Her special people in her life are her Nana, her Aunt Priscilla, and Miss McDonald her teacher. She enjoys swimming, playing with her tablet, and getting her nails and toes done. She is special because she is a strong survivor. She would tell cancer that she is an “over comer”!
