CCN’s March 5th Run to Fight Cancer Hero is Jarietzie!
Jarietzie’s family lived in Bullhead City when she was first diagnosed with ALL in 2015. Traveling back and forth to Phoenix to go to Phoenix Children’s Hospital was too much for the family so they decided to move to the Phoenix area. CCN was a great help in providing gas and food cards to the family. Since Jarietzie’s family didn’t know anyone or had no family here, Children’s Cancer Network enabled them to meet and connect with other families. They participate in many CCN programs and events such as the holiday party and It’s All About You program. Jarietzie has not felt the side-effects from treatment like the other kids they saw in the hospital. She played around and was active. Jarietzie is currently off treatment and doing well.
