Avery was 15 months old when she was diagnosed with a rare Rhabdomyosarcoma. She underwent weekly chemotherapy treatments for almost a year. On October 31, 2012, she had her last treatment. Today she is cancer free and recently celebrated her fourth birthday. This year she started preschool, and she loves to sing, dance, and do crafts. Avery and her family are so thankful for all of staff at Cardon Children’s Center who took such good care of her.
