Patti Luttrell, Executive Director
As the Executive Director of Children’s Cancer Network, Patti’s extensive expertise stems from her career as a nurse, and as a mom to Jeff and Jenny, her childhood cancer warrior son and her daughter. As one of the co-founders of Children’s Cancer Network along with her husband Steve started the organization from the gracious and inspiring words of their then 15-year-old daughter, Jenny, who proclaimed, “We’re going to make a difference for the families battling childhood cancer!” when she witnessed first-hand the atrocities of a cancer diagnosis. Patti’s love of her family transcends all that she does for all people. She is a tireless advocate for childhood cancer families and will work endlessly for families battling childhood cancer. She is the motivating force for all employees and volunteers at Children’s Cancer Network. When she has down time, you might find Patti on the golf course or swimming a lap or two! She enjoys shopping and when able to do so, travel is a preferred pastime! Her endless pursuit of providing hope for the families on this cancer journey make her an exceptional role model and leader.
Sherri Irby, Administrative Assistant and Office Coordinator
Sherri Irby brings her 30 years teaching experience to her job as the Administrative Assistant and Office Coordinator for Children’s Cancer Network. Sherri keeps the office running smoothly by handling referrals, helping cancer warriors find the perfect wig, , writing the hero bios seen on Social Media as well as helping to coordinate the Scholarship Event. Born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming, Sherri finds solace in the outdoors, hiking and kayaking. In addition, she is a talented card maker, crafter and wood painter. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and the beach is her ultimate happy place. She is adept at working with our volunteers and helping everyone, to make everything they do for Children’s Cancer Network, meaningful. “Life is short, it’s up to you to make it sweet”, emanates from Sherri, as she serves our families, bringing some hope into their lives.
Sharon Wozny, Program Specialist
A Program Specialist for Children’s Cancer Network since 2016, Sharon Wozny brings her 30-year teaching experience to this role. She is the lead for It’s All About You both in the hospitals and office, H.O.P.E. Honoring our Peers Everyday, CCN Café, as well as coordinating the models for Inspirations. In addition, she oversees All Star Siblings and Sibshops. In her downtime, Sharon enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, learning to draw and paint with watercolors. Having volunteered with American Cancer Society’s East Mesa’s Relay for Life, Sharon was drawn to Children’s Cancer Network after attending numerous Inspirations Fashion Shows. She knew this is where she should be next. The inspiration that she draws from the incredible families humbles her and makes her want to continue serving these families, helping to bring some hope into their world. She is the author of “Jamie’s Journey Cancer from the Voice of a Sibling.”
Chisa Hauber, Event Specialist
As Children’s Cancer Network’s Event Specialist, Chisa Hauber’s background as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse at Banner Children’s at Desert Banner Medical Center, lends itself to her work with our families. Growing up in Columbia, Missouri, Chisa spent time volunteering at a variety of places, including health fairs, fundraising for September 11th and after-school programs for children. Currently, she volunteers at her daughter’s school where she is on the PTO board. Chisa was drawn to Children’s Cancer Network as she witnessed firsthand, the incredible things they do for the community of childhood cancer families; she knew she wanted to be a part of it! As the Event Specialist, Chisa puts her passion, knowledge, skill and creativity to work to raise funds to support the vital work of Children’s Cancer Network and bring hope to each family served by this organization. In her downtime, she crafts, decorates cakes, refinishes furniture and watches college football. Chisa’s favorite motto, “Whenever there is a human in need, there is an opportunity for kindness and to make a difference,” by Kevin Heath, shows in her work at Children’s Cancer Network.
Deborah Rapoport, Program Specialist
A native Californian, Deborah came to Arizona to attend University of Arizona where she majored in Economics and Business. Before working for CCN, Deb worked at Johnny and Friends, a non-profit for people with disabilities. As a Program Specialist, Deb leads a variety of programs that connect families and build relationships. These include, but are not limited to, a health and wellness program called It’s All about You for Girls and Families, Fort Build, and Winter Wonderland. Deb’s dedication and enthusiasm for meeting the needs of our families and bringing them opportunities to meet others on this journey make her a valuable asset to the CCN team.
Cheryl Trone, Program Specialist
As an Arizona State University graduate with a degree in Family and Human Development, Cheryl worked for Banner Desert as an Information Analyst prior to joining the CCN Team. This background, along with her positive attitude and tireless energy, makes her the perfect person to lead our two major programs… Adopt a Family in July and Holiday Surprises in December. In addition, she leads the DREAM program where she brings families together with art, mindfulness and reflection. Cheryl is a welcome addition to the CCN team.

Ben Gokee, Program Specialist
Ben Gokee is a Program Specialist for CCN who is also earning his degree in Public Health at Grand Canyon University. Ben’s passion for the childhood cancer community comes from personal experience; Ben is the sibling of a cancer fighter. CCN played a huge role for Ben and his family during their journey and his role at CCN allows him to bring his passion, dedication and inspiring energy to provide the families the same type of support that his family received. Ben’s responsibilities lie in developing the Let’s Move Center with a variety of activities for families to get moving; he has created opportunities such as, day camps during different school breaks, movie nights, date nights and private events for families; in addition, by developing relationships with the hospitals and physical therapists, he has brought opportunities to the families to come to the Let’s Move Center and receive that support.. Ben’s positive attitude and his deep understanding of what cancer families need makes him the ideal person to coordinate the Let’s Move Center.

Tracy Madden, Event Coordinator
As a part-time member of the Event Team, Tracy Madden brings a wealth of expertise and talent to Children’s Cancer Network. Before joining Children’s Cancer Network, Tracy was the Senior Administrative Assistant at Voya Financial where she supported the Chief Operating Officer of the Mutual Fund Platform. In addition, Tracy was the Co-Chair of the Scottsdale site’s Community Partners Program and Employee Giving Campaign. Tracy’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Business and Tourism from Arizona State University translates easily to her role at Children’s Cancer Network; Tracy coordinates fundraising events which make it possible to provide financial assistance for the families. Tracy has participated in various volunteer opportunities throughout her life. Currently she volunteers at her son’s school, with his sports teams and, teaches Sunday School at her church. When she is not volunteering, Tracy spends time with her family, whether they are hanging out at home, hiking or cooking. She is a dog lover as well! Pablo Picasso said, “The meaning of life is to find our gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” Tracy brings that to fruition with her role at Children’s Cancer Network to make a difference for the childhood cancer community in Arizona.
Kim Baldwin, Social Media Specialist
Born and raised in Phoenix, Kim Baldwin is the Social Media Specialist for Children’s Cancer Network. Kim’s degrees include a BA in Elementary Education, a Masters of Divinity and a certificate in Non-Profit Operations and Program Impact. Her full-time job is at Arizona State University where she works with undergraduates who are committed to creating change in our community and the world through the Next Generation Service Corps. Volunteering has been an important part of Kim’s life since childhood; now, she seeks volunteer opportunities to do with her family. Being part of the Children’s Cancer Network family is a gift that she treasures; as the Social Media Specialist Kim wants to increase support for the families that the organization serves as well as deepen the understanding of childhood cancer and the impact it has on families. She is happiest when she is spending time with her husband and four children; she is a reader, a hiker, a writer and an HGTV fan! Kim lives by her favorite quote: “Have Courage, Work Hard and Be Kind.”
