Patti Luttrell

Executive Director & Co-Founder

Patti co-founded Children’s Cancer Network with her husband Steve in 2004 and serves as Executive Director.  In this role she has led the organization from its grass roots to a thriving company focused on filling the gaps in the many needs of families impacted by childhood cancer.  Her career in Nursing and as a University Nursing Professor prepared her for the challenges of this position.  Patti manages a staff of seven overseeing efforts in donor development, program services, marketing, event planning and coordination, finance and budgeting, and employee training.  She is Co-Chairperson of the Fundraising Committee and also serves on the Governance Committee.  Her favorite program event is the Scholarship Program as it focuses on the future, and provides family members hope as they strive to achieve their dreams.  Patti is an advocate for childhood cancer families at each opportunity. She strives to bring awareness within the state for childhood cancer issues and address the needs of these families throughout the state.

Away from work Patti enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She loves to travel, ride her bicycle, and, when possible, walk on the beach. Patti is inspired by the strength of her children and view each new day as a blessing and opportunity to help others
